Dr. Alison J. Harmon has spent the span of her 32-year career in the field of education. She was a special education teacher in the Youngstown City Schools for five years; a principal and teacher in Girard City Schools for eight years; an instructor at Youngstown State University for two years; a tenured professor at Eastern Michigan University for 11 years; and a program director for education at the Skillman Foundation for six years. Dr. Harmon is delighted to have the opportunity to return to YSU as associate dean for BCOE (outreach and partnerships) and associate professor in the Department of Teacher Education.
