TONI DIMARGIO
2003-2004 Outstanding Alumnus - Department of Counseling
 
 

Toni DiMargio graduated from YSU's Business School in 1988 and received her Master of Science in Education majoring in Community Counseling in 1992.

She purchased Churchill Counseling Services in 1995. At that time, she had a staff of six, including the secretary. Today, she has a staff of 30 and provides services at two locations - one in Trumbull and one in Mahoning County.

Toni is the CEO of Churchill Counseling Services. Last year, the facility was successful in receiving a 3-year national accreditation by CARF. They are also certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health.

Toni is active with the Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative, the Children Who Witness Domestic Violence project, the Ebony Lifeline Support Group, the Family First Council, and YSU's own Counseling Department's Advisory Board.

As a supervising counselor, she has worked with YSU student interns. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota and belongs to the American Counseling Association and the Ohio Counseling Association.
