Dr. Philip Ginnetti, Professor of Teacher Education, was appointed to serve as Dean of the Beeghly College of Education at Youngstown State University beginning July 1, 2002. He holds both his B.S. (1974) and M.S. (1978) degrees from Youngstown State University. His Ph.D. is from the University of Akron (1989). A former teacher in the area, he has previous administrative experience as an elementary school Principal, as Chairman of the Department of Teacher Education and as Assistant Dean at YSU. A Professor of Teacher Education, his main academic interest at the university is in the area of teaching Reading.
